If you want me to keep an eye on your CRA account, and some people do, some don’t, please add my email address for notification.
Go to:
Your name in the top right corner and select profile:
On the right side, about half way down is notification preference
Click edit and add my gmail, cjhamilton.ltd@gmail.com, .
Check off the accounts you want me to watch, but as a minimum check T1 returns
Then click “next” and review and submit.
I will tell you that when I file for you, unless you tell me otherwise, I always say to CRA to contact me first if there is a problem. My model is hand-holding.
But if they are contacting you, they have overlooked that and gone rogue. So please always let me know if you get correspondence from CRA, other than your notice of assessment, or if your notice of assessment looks wonky.
